Dear EurBee members and the wider interested public,

We are pleased to invite you to a bee-related conference where science meets practice and business. The event will bring together scientists, beekeepers, and entrepreneurs who add value to beehive products, including apitourism, apitherapy, api-wellness, api-education, gastronomy, and bee-based nutritional supplements.

The conference will take place in Maribor, Slovenia, on 14–15 September 2026. It has been scheduled to allow participants of the EurBee conference to conveniently continue to Maribor (approximately 5 hours and 15 minutes to get from Bologna to Maribor by car), with the added opportunity to visit some well-known destinations along the way, such as Venice, Postojna Cave, or Ljubljana.

We are also pleased to share that, as the conference is sponsored by the Slovene government and co-organised by UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization), there is no registration fee. A fee applies only for optional catering services, including 5 coffee breaks, 2 lunches with local culinary, and the conference dinner, which features a zip-line experience and wine tasting at a wine fountain.
